This is a legal requirement that all sales of alcohol taking place on licensed premises in England and Wales must be authorised by a personal licence holder.

Our nationally recognised Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) qualification is approved and fully accredited by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation(Ofqual). This one-day training course has been designed to meet the statutory requirements and includes vital information on the responsibilities of licence holders, duties of the designated premises supervisor(DPS), the role & powers of licensing authorities, and police regarding licensed premises.

Exam Requirements:

• You must have a PC/Laptop with Windows 10 or above installed or you may use Apple Mac (OS 11.3) as Phones/Chrome Books and Tablets will not work
• You must have a working Microphone and Webcam or you will not be able to sit through this exam
• You must have at least 1 Photo ID on hand e.g. Driving Licence, Passport etc
• Must have a stable internet connection (3 Mbps) for download and upload speed
• This is 1-hour multiple-choice question exam
• You must get 36/45 to pass this course

Examination & Certification

After completing the e-learning course, you will then complete your exam via a web portal which will be recorded via a web camera. You will be required to complete the e-assessment by logging into our digital invigilation platform using unique credentials. The learner will be required to comply with exam conditions using their smartphone and webcam. Setup takes just 5 minutes and support is available in getting set up.
