With the advent of our CITB Site Manager (SMSTS) refresher virtual course, you can now get certified from the comfort of your own home.
This two-day live virtual classroom training provides project managers, site managers and supervisors, company owners, and client-based workers with the information and skills necessary to maintain healthy and safe working conditions for construction site employees. The United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) recognizes this training as achieving the required requirement for all managers working on UKCG sites.
Online SMSTS Refresher Course Duration:
This two-day virtual course lasts 8.5 hours per day (including breaks).
Online SMSTS Refresher Course
At the end of the course, all students must complete an exam paper, four core exercises, and a case study. The examination paper has 25 questions. CITB has selected 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 short written safety critical questions that cover all of the subjects covered in the training. The passing grade for this is 80%. The examination proves to external entities that certificates are only granted to successful delegates who have completed both an assessment and an examination.
Online SMSTS Refresher Certification
After passing all examinations, you will get the CITB Site Manager Safety (SMSTS) certificate, which is valid for five years.

The purpose of the Refresher course is to ensure that skills taught during first training are not forgotten due to lack of use. This training also allows participants to learn about any modifications or upgrades to the safety practices that they are being re-trained on.
The CITB Site Management Safety Certificate expires after five years. To remain certified, certificate holders must complete the 2-day SMSTS Refresher course before their certificate expires. This renews their qualification for another five years.
Your course will be presented via video conference utilizing Zoom, WebEx, or Google Hangouts. Before your course, you will get all joining information by email to your mailbox.
You will receive a downloaded version of the course materials used in our classroom courses.
Your test will be administered using an online examination platform. Before the examination, you will need to provide your ID to the invigilator via webcam, and the exam will be proctored live. All other exam conditions are as per Gliss Training T&C.
